Clinical Psychologist, California License PSY 23419
I have been providing psychotherapy for over ten years, since I came to psychology as a new career in midlife. I hold a Psy.D. degree from the Wright Institute in Berkeley, California, and, before I was licensed, I was the Psychological Assistant to Steven Kanofsky, Ph.D. in Dublin, California for over three years.
For over three years, I have been an adjunct clinical faculty member at the Wright Institute in Berkeley, CA, where I provide clinical supervision to Psy.D. students.
I am a member of these professional organizations:
- American Psychological Association
- California Psychological Association
- Alameda County Psychological Association
- Association of Family Therapists of Northern California
- Northern California Society for Psychoanalytic Psychology
Before embarking on my career change, I held various positions in high tech marketing in Silicon Valley and was privileged to be a part of how the Internet changed the world. I also provided marketing consulting to start-ups and executive coaching, focusing on people who were re-evaluating their work-life goals. I also hold a Ph.D. in Management from the University of Texas at Austin.
